‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Week 7 Spoilers: The Snatch Game Is Finally Coming! [Video]

At Week 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, some fans, like myself, were eagerly awaiting the infamous Snatch Game. It did not happen, instead the Despy award graced the main stage of Drag Racelittle bit disgruntled.

Patience, as it is said, is a virtue. With eight Queens left, the Snatch Game will, indeed, take place.

The Snatch Game has been a part of RuPaul’s Drag Race since Season 2. It helps Ru decide which queen can hold her own when faced with an improvisation situation. Queens must create a character based on a famous person, and if the case may be, make the persona hilarious. Ru asks the queens and two guests to answer questions that can be a bit risque. The Queens attempt to match their answers with the guests’ responses. The Snatch Game of Drag Race, however, is more about how the Queens handle themselves during the game.

The game usually takes place with 10 queens left. This season, it is happening when there are eight. Perhaps Ru wanted to weed out the Drag Queens before giving them one of the most influential challenges of the race.

Those who subscribe to the Logo TV YouTube channel would have already seen the official promo video for next week’s episode.

When watched closely, the video gives a spoiler as to who one of the queens will be portraying. Max, decked out in a bright wig (what? No gray?!), white make-up, and dark lips, will be none other than Sharon Needles. Needles won Drag Race back on Season 4.

Did anyone catch that familiar lip smacking from Violet? Maybe we will see an Alyssa Edwards on the gaming panel? Or, you know, maybe there will be two queens doing Donatella Versace. On Twitters, fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race are expressing their opinions and giving out guesses as to who might play who.

Whatever, or rather, whoever the queens decide to mimic in this season’s Snatch Game it is sure to be hilarious. The game will also help Ru separate the cream of the crop from the rest. After all, there are only eight queens left; it is time for them to shine.

The next episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race is on Monday. Who would you like to see the queens portray?
