Kate Upton Was Mad At Cat Daddy Bikini Video And Curve Controversy, Shares Shapely Secrets [Video]

Kate Upton is now expressing her fury that a video she made for fun with photographer Terry Richardson became a viral sensation. With Kate doing the Cat Daddy dance in a teeny-tiny bikini, the viral video has now received more than 20 million hits, reported PopSugar.

But despite the Cat controversy, Kate is no longer fuming with frustration over the fact that she did not give permission for the video’s release. She just wants to express her true feelings about how she felt regarding the video, shown below.

“I was like, ‘That was disrespectful, you could have told me!'” Upton recalls telling Terry in a Vogue interview.

But Kate also recognizes the role that the video played in helping her become famous for her figure.

“Now, obviously, it’s fine,” admitted Upton.

“Kate was born a star,” declares Terry of his part in putting her on the fashion model map.

But Upton remains angry at the fat-shaming she received because of her curves. She contends that the backlash over her shape has a positive element in providing young girls with a role model.

“I didn’t at first because I was just being myself and living my life, and then, whenever the criticism started, I did. I just thought how I’m going to come out of this will be an example for girls.”

One infamous fat-shamer was Sophia Neophitou, the Victoria’s Secret fashion show casting director.

“We would never use [Upton]. She’s like a page-three girl, she’s like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blonde hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy,” dismissed Sophia.

But now that Upton has succeeded both as a supermodel for magazines such as Sports Illustrated and an actress in films such as The Other Woman, her trainer, David Kirsch, is revealing the truth about those famous curves to Elle.

David, who also trained Heidi Klum and Liv Tyler, says that the number one question he receives about Kate focuses on how she maintains those famous curves.

“Everyone wants to know if she is disciplined with her diet and exercise, and the answer is that she is amazing about the diet. She does a few egg whites with spinach for breakfast, and when she wants to, she does a 48-hour cleanse. She loves my Thermo Bubbles for snacks and my Super Charged Greens. She has a very good sense of how she needs to eat for her body.”

In addition, Kirsch shared that Kate follows a sugar-free, gluten-free diet. To train for her film, he also put her through a rigorous workout routine.

“We did five to seven days a week, usually pretty late at night for 60 to 90 minutes,” he revealed. “It was very, very intense. It served two purposes: de-stressing and toning.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Kirsch’s client Heidi Klum also follows a low-carb diet and intense fitness plan, which she credits for helping her stay sexy in her 40s.
