Westboro Baptist Church To Protest Robert Schuller’s, Founder Of Crystal Cathedral, Funeral Service

Westboro Babtist Church is at it again, and this time they are planning to protest the funeral of Rev. Robert H. Schuller, the founder of Crystal Cathedral who died last week at the age of 88.

Westboro is a Kansas-based group that is known for picketing the funeral and memorial services of American soldiers and other individuals that don’t agree with their beliefs.

Schuller’s funeral, set to take place on Monday, April 20, will be picketed because he refused to sign an anti-gay covenant in 2013. Schuller had long preached tolerance and the covenant went against his ministry.

“I have a reputation worldwide of being tolerant of all people and their views,” Schuller said at the time, according to the Orange County Register. “I’m too well-educated to criticize a certain religion or group of people for what they believe in. It’s called freedom.”

Westboro Baptist Church announced the protest on Tuesday in a press release on their website.

“A great ceremony of pomp, circumstance, and bald-faced lies will be held at the funeral of Robert Schuller, with the “Christian” elite bowing down to his dead carcass. This alleged evangelical preacher made many proselytes twofold more the children of hell than himself! After his false ministry went bankrupt, his famous Crystal Cathedral fell into the hands of the raping-priest-catholic monster, a fitting end to this great symbol of apostasy.

In the 88 years of his life, Schuller saw this nation fall into proud sin, forgetting the God who made this nation, stealing His glory unto themselves, wallowing in fornication, adultery (divorce/remarriage), sodomy and same-sex marriage. Rather than use the platform God gave him to warn his fellow man, which was his everlasting non-delegable duty, he protected his life of prosperity and popularity. He called himself a Bible preacher; he should have been hated of the world, not loved; and he should have preached about hell. It will redound to his eternal shame that his daughter now claims to be senior preacher of that house of destruction and lies.

Less than two years before God required his soul, Schuller publicly criticized a modest attempt by some of the Crystal Cathedral’s administrators to have choir members sign a covenant saying a marriage should be between one man and one woman. The very minute the sodomite beasts (egged on by the immoral media) protested, Schuller disowned this blessed Bible principle, blathering about “tolerance” and “acceptance,” bragging that he was too “well-educated to criticize a certain religion or group of people,” the picture of, “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” Romans 1:22.

Schuller falls into the ranks of the leg-spreading whores calling themselves preachers, telling people they can live like the devil and still go to heaven, with their “God loves everybody” ever-popular lie. What woe he will face before his Creator! Warn your fellow man to run from these false prophets and flee the wrath to come!”

Schuller’s daughter Carol Schuller-Milner said that Westboro will not stop them from celebrating her father’s life.

“Westboro is a hate group,” she said. “If they have decided to picket us, it’s a compliment.”

Since 1991, Westboro, who believes Barack Obama is the antichrist and the end of the world is imminent, has staged many many more protests at a variety of events.
