Brooklyn Lachey’s First Pic: Nick And Vanessa Lachey Show Off Their Baby Girl
Brooklyn Lachey’s first pic went live on Easter. Her parents, Nick and Vanessa Lachey shared the first real photo of their baby girl on their Instagram on Easter Sunday, according to E! Online. Brooklyn was born in January, and her parents shared a photo of her fingers grabbing onto Nick’s hand not long after her birth.
However, Nick and Vanessa decided to give their Instagram followers a full look at their baby girl for the holiday. Brooklyn even wore a bunny ear hat for the occasion.
Brooklyn Lachey is the second child for Nick and Vanessa Lachey. Their son, Camden, is 2-years-old, and he is already settling into his new role as Brooklyn’s big brother. Nick spoke about the adjustment Camden faced with E! News.
“I mean, she’s doing great, sleeping great, and [Camden] was the same way. [Camden was] a little skeptical at first of someone coming and stealing his thunder. He’s very protective. Like if Brooklyn’s crying, Camden wants to make sure he lets us know that she’s crying, and he wants to know why. I like that he’s kind of getting his protective big brother instincts going already. That’s a good thing.”
Nick is making some adjustments too, according to People Magazine. For now, he is allowing Vanessa to take charge when it comes to dressing Brooklyn, but he plans for that to change as she grows up. He knows that he wants to be actively involved in his little girl’s life.
“Cam and I are out in the yard playing and Mom and Brooklyn are doing what they do — which is a lot of feeding and sleeping … It’s a lot of fun. When it comes time to dress Brooklyn, I still defer to [Vanessa]. The whole dressing thing is tough for me with a little girl. I got a lot to learn about braiding hair and all the things that come into play.”
Vanessa Lachey was definitely excited about having a baby girl in January. She expressed her excitement clearly when she wrote in her blog after the baby’s arrival.
“I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl. A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because it’s the day I would meet my best friend. I can’t even begin to tell you how it felt to hold her in my arms for the very first time.”
Nick is definitely enjoying his life with Vanessa and his two children. He was once married to Jessica Simpson, but the couple did not have children. According to a previous Inquisitr report, Nick revealed in an interview before Brooklyn’s birth that he was glad that he and Jessica did not have children.
“I think in our situation, that was probably the best thing that could have ever happened is that we didn’t have kids. All things being equal, it was the best thing probably for the both of us that we went on with our lives and she’s obviously happily married with two [kids]. I’m happy married about to have two so it all worked out the way it was supposed to work out.”
Jessica and Nick had their early years of marriage shared on MTV. Fans will not see Nick and Vanessa do the same. Nick is happy to live his life away from the cameras of reality television.
