NY Teacher Arrested After Requesting ‘Daddy/Daughter’ Sex Relationship With 14-Year-Old Girl On Craigslist
New York music teacher Charles Kane, 46 — a married father of two young daughters — who taught at Hilton Middle School was arrested Thursday after he made arrangements to meet up with a 14-year-old girl at a local theater for sexual activities.
According to Daily Mail, Kane placed an ad on Craigslist, where he stated he was interested in a “daddy/daughter” sex relationship and “loved younger women.”
Undercover police officers immediately took an interest in the ad and began communicating with him, pretending to be a 14-year-old girl. Once Kane assumed the “girl” was interested, he didn’t hesitate to send photos of himself as well as ask for photos of the teen.

Although the middle school teacher knew he could get in trouble for attempting to have sex with a teen, as he stated in his messages, he still told the teen, “‘I could get a room and I could sneak you there.”
However, he reassured her that the meet and greet would “between you and me.”
After Kane made arrangements to meet with the 14-year-old girl at a local movie theater, undercover police officers made their move and met him there. Officers said they immediately placed him under arrest and discovered a box of condoms in his possession.
When the Hilton Central School District learned of Kane’s arrested, they released the following statement.
“The Hilton Central School District was informed by law enforcement about the arrest of a district employee. We are cooperating fully with the investigation. The district has suspended the employee in question and banned him from campus as per disciplinary policy. It is important to note that none of the charges allege criminal activity by this individual involving any Hilton Central School District students. The District is activating its District Crisis Team and will have resources available to our students when they return on Monday. Student safety is our top priority and will be foremost in our minds throughout this investigation.”
This isn’t Kane’s first time soliciting sex with a minor. In October of 2014, he placed an ad on Craigslist, claiming to be interested in the same thing: younger women.
Kane was arrested for “enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity,” according to TWC News.
If convicted of the crime, Kane will be facing a maximum of 10 years behind prison bars, and he will also have to pay an aggregate of $250,000 in fines.
