Linsey Jade Dead: ‘Bad Girls Club’ Star Berardi Dies At Age Of 22

Bad Girls Club star Linsey Jade is dead at the age of 22. Linsey “Jade” Berardi appeared on Season 12 of the Oxygen show, which aired from May to September 2014.

Oxygen confirmed Linsey Jade’s death after rumors started swirling online. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, fans and supporters instead send donations to animal shelters in support of Berardi’s love and advocacy for animals.

A media spokesperson for Oxygen noted that they were “deeply saddened” by Berardi’s death and added that their “deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts go out to her family, friends and fans.” Linsey Jade went by the name “Brooklyn Brat” on Season 12 of the reality TV show.

As Us Weekly notes, Linsey Jade had her controversial moments on the show last summer. She was kicked off Bad Girls Club for getting into physical confrontations with others involved in the show, including co-star Jada Cacchilli as well as a cameraman.

At this point, details regarding Linsey Jade’s death have not been revealed. However, former BGC co-star Cacchilli did tweet a post about drugs ruining lives as the news of the star’s death made headlines.

Many interpret that post of Jada’s as being related to the news of Berardi’s passing, though there has not been any confirmation from the family or network that drugs were involved. While the show is, of course, known for the shenanigans of its stars, Berardi’s death comes as a shock to many.

While there was drama between Linsey Jade and others on the show, Jada shared via Instagram that they had been able to put the drama behind them after the show. Cacchilli adds that she prays that Berardi’s passing was a peaceful one. E! Online notes that others tied to Bad Girls Club took to social media to share their condolences as well.

According to Daily Mail, Berardi is survived by her parents as well as a sister and brother. There had been some buzz about Linsey Jade being dead on social media before the network confirmed it, with many hoping it was a hoax prior to learning the reality TV star had indeed passed.

Berardi herself hadn’t been particularly active on social media over the past few months. As her season of Bad Girls Club aired, she posted several tweets and photos defending herself. She said that she wasn’t contacted about the opportunity to participate in the reunion show and she said she had many issues with the show off-camera. Her last tweets were at the beginning of January.

Bad Girls Club stars and fans are sad to hear that Linsey Jade is dead, and many will be curious to see if further details regarding Berardi’s cause of death are revealed.
