Jill Duggar Baby Update: ’19 Kids’ Star Heads Out For Lunch As Delivery Rumors Swirl
19 Kids and Counting fans are on baby watch now that Jill Duggar Dillard is more than a week past her due date. There have been signs that she’s close to delivering “Baby Dilly,” with some wondering if Jill and Derick Dillard’s baby boy may have finally arrived. According to Jill’s latest Instagram post, however, the baby isn’t here yet.
Despite some signs that labor might be happening, Baby Dilly isn’t ready to make his first appearance quite yet. Jill Duggar Dillard posted a photo Friday afternoon showing her out to lunch with hubby Derick Dillard. The 19 Kids and Counting stars are all smiles, though clearly they’re both anxious for their son to join them.
“Out to lunch…maybe this spicy Mexican food will make the baby come! Only Braxton Hicks contractions with this weather so far. We shall see what the weekend brings! #nobabyyet #lunchwithmyhubby”
As is often the case with anything Jill or Derick posts, the photo garnered tens of thousands of likes almost instantaneously. Within just a few hours, nearly 100,000 followers had “liked” the post with almost 2,000 commenting.
Derick has indicated that the baby’s arrival is most definitely imminent. As was previously reported by the Inquisitr, his comments about Jill’s contractions had everybody on high alert. While everybody is keeping a close eye on Jill and Derick’s social media pages for updates, chances are that an outlet like People may well break the official news.
Though the current season of 19 Kids and Counting is covering the early months of Jill’s pregnancy at this point, with Jessa and Ben’s wedding having just aired, cameras are still filming and viewers will get to see Baby Dilly’s arrival on the show not too far down the road.
According to People, Duggar family fans won’t have to wait nearly as long to see the show cover Jill and Derick’s baby’s birth as they had to wait to see the wedding. A 19 Kids and Counting birth special will air on May 5 on TLC.
Jill had previously indicated that she fully expected to go a bit late with this pregnancy, just as many first-time moms do leading up to their delivery. The Dillards seem to be in great spirits, but it is clear that both Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are getting antsy for Baby Dilly to make an appearance.
