Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Vita DLC delayed a week

As you may recall, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 for the PlayStation Vita was supposed to have some day-one DLC available on the PlayStation Store, but said DLC never actually showed up.

The missing Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 DLC in question includes the Jill and Shuma-Gorath characters, as well as the Costume Pack 1 DLC, which includes alternate costumes for Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Chris, Ryu and Dante.

In a blog post over on Capcom Unity, the company explained that it had received reports from a number of users about the DLC no-show, and that the developer had to pull it after discovering some last minute issues.

Specifically, Capcom said that problems involved sharing the content between the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 3. Both DLC packs were originally associated with Marvel vs Capcom 3 on the PlayStation 3, and so Capcom had to make sure that the DLC would still share properly despite the version (and name) differences.

Fortunately, Capcom seems to have gotten the issue resolved, and both Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 DLC packs will see a release on the PlayStation Network next Tuesday (February 28) once the PlayStation Store is updated at its regular time.
