Nude Woman Crashes Car, Half-Naked Man Flees The Scene
A bizarre story has come out of Des Moines, Iowa, this week when police responded to an accident to find a nude woman sitting in the driver’s side of one of the crashed cars. Witnesses say the nude 25-year-old had a male passenger who ran from the scene wearing nothing but white shorts and shoes.
According to Who TV, the nude woman crashed her car at about 12:25 a.m. on East 14th Street and Euclid Avenue in Des Moines. She rear-ended a 44-year-old woman while she was stopped at a red light. The victim said the nude woman crashed into her from behind and pushed her into the intersection. Fortunately, no oncoming cars crashed into her from there.
When police arrived, the nude woman was sitting in the driver’s seat with obvious signs of intoxication. Her eyes were wet and bloodshot and her speech was slurred. She admitted she had been drinking but didn’t admit to driving the car when the accident happened. She didn’t mention the half-naked man who fled the scene of the crash and claimed the car wasn’t hers. Police found her cell phone and shoes, but no other clothes were present in the car.
Authorities reported that the nude woman had to have been going about 80 miles per hour when she crashed at the stoplight. After the crash, police found Jesse Jefferies, the 26-year-old half-naked men who fled the scene. The witness identified him. However, Jefferies also denied driving the car at the time of the crash. He refused a preliminary breathalyzer test but was taken into custody for public intoxication and moved to Polk County Jail.
According to the Des Moines Register, the nude woman and the man decided to “get naked” while driving around the city. Blood tests were taken to determine how intoxicated the 25-year-old woman was at the time of the crash, but results are still pending.
The nude woman was taken by police to Mercy Medical Center and picked up by her boyfriend. Despite her claims that the car wasn’t hers, the nude woman’s boyfriend confirmed that it was.
The crash cost the victim $2,500 worth of damage to her car. The nude woman’s vehicle sustained almost $4,000 in damages, according to the accident report. The victim was also taken to Broadlawns Medical Center for pains in her back, neck, and knee.
