Justin Bieber lip syncing to Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train”? You read that right.
The 21-year-old superstar packs a visual punch in a just-dropped promotional clip for Lip Sync Battle, which launches on Spike TV tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
It’s Bieber as we’ve never seen him before. The Canadian channels Ozzy Osbourne in a black wig, thickly applied eyeliner, a leather coat, and a suitably crazed look in his eyes as he rocks out to the Brit veteran’s 1980 hit “Crazy Train.”
The Biebs looks fantastic in the video, and viewers can see the full hilariousness of it when the episode airs later this month.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Justin got his Ozzy on back in March when he taped the segment. The singer went up against former NFL-star-cum-CBS-Sports-NFL-Network-analyst, Deion Sanders, who performed in full drag as Madonna.
Inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s regular contest on The Tonight Show, the premise of Lip Sync Battle is exactly the same. Guest celebrities are pitted against each other singing songs of their choice.
The show is hosted by the rapper LL Cool J alongside Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen, in the role of a “color commentator.”
Back in February, Spike TV filmed 10 episodes of Lip Sync Battle in New York City, then another eight in Los Angeles in March. In addition to Bieber, other guests include Teigen’s husband, John Legend, Malin Akerman, Common, Dwayne Johnson, Jennifer Lopez, Will Arnett, Anne Hathaway, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Mike Tyson, Meghan Trainor, Queen Latifah, Julianne Hough and many more.
Teigen has been doing the press rounds in the run up to the premiere of Lip Sync Battle. Speaking to Glamour magazine, the model revealed how much she digs the show.
“Everything about it was really fun, and it was such a surprise for me every single day,” she told Glamour. “I really truly loved it.”
Teigen added, “The fun part is the witty stuff. The hard part is pulling it in and giving actual feedback because I just want to joke and be funny. Giving the critiques is the hard part.”
The model, who the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber had only praise for his turn on the show. “It’s weird to look Justin Bieber in the face and scold him,” Teigen recalled.
She explained, “He’s eight times better than me than anything. So it’s funny to watch him and then say something like, ‘Justin, you didn’t really bring your A game tonight!'”
Teigen also noted Marlon Wayans and comic Stephen Merchant were “incredible,” before adding that Kendrick, “really took it seriously and killed it.”
Asked who she would perform as, Teigen admitted, “If I could do it with [Britney Spears], I would lose my mind.” She added, “We’d sing either ‘Lucky’ or ‘Dear Diary.'”
