Woman Who Urinated In Parents-In-Law’s Teapot For A Year Gets Caught In The Act
Rekha Nagvanshi thought a good way to get back at her in-laws was to pee in their teapot, so she did just that for the best part of a year. Recently she was caught red-handed by her shocked mother-in-law as she squatted to urinate in the pot she was about to serve.
Nagvanshi, 30, from the Indore district in central India, was reportedly upset with her in-laws stopping her husband doing chores around the house, and she wanted revenge.
Rekha made no secret of the fact she hated her in-laws and that she would much rather live with her parents. She also hated the man who was chosen for her via an arranged marriage and said she was treated poorly by him.
A friend of Rekha, Alia Kohli, told reporters, “She was very unhappy with her arranged marriage and said her husband treated her like a slave and eventually she decided she’d had enough. But after moving out, he begged her to go back for the sake of their four-year-old daughter. She agreed but only if he cooked for her, massaged her feet and did all the washing up. He seemed fine with it but they went mental and accused her of treating him like a slave.”
Rekha is apparently a strong woman and likes independence.
Kohli continued, “So I guess that’s when she decided to start doing what she did, and urinating in their tea.”
Rekha’s mother-in-law also got a chance to speak her mind to reporters, telling them, “Although we knew she didn’t like us we had no idea she was doing this. She always smiled and offered us tea and we accepted. But one day I went into the kitchen and found her urinating into the teapot.”
The in-laws, who went to the police but were turned away from filing a report, added, “You cannot urinate into someone’s tea for a year and get away with it. We want justice.”
They also may care to reflect upon the fact that they were unable to detect any difference in the flavor of their tea which, presumably, was not always prepared by their daughter-in-law.
