‘Last Man’ Co-Stars Dating? January Jones And Will Forte Have Been ‘Casually Dating’ For Two Months

Last Man On Earth co-stars Will Forte and January Jones have plenty of chemistry on-screen, and it looks like that chemistry has spilled into the off-screen world as well. The two have been “casually dating” for “a few months,” Us Weekly is reporting.

A source close to the couple says that the two are just “having fun” and seeing where the relationship takes them.

“He’s a good guy.”

January Jones, who recently wrapped up filming the final episodes of Mad Men last year before beginning her Last Man on Earth gig, has previously dated “several of Hollywood’s leading men,” including Will Forte’s fellow Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis, according to MSN, as well as Noah Miller, Ashton Kutcher, and Josh Groban. But she’s never been married. The 37-year-old has a one-year-old son, Xander, though she hasn’t publicly identified who Xander’s father is.

The 44-year-old Forte, meanwhile, has never married and isn’t known to date high-profile Hollywood starlets. The comedian discussed his rather thin public dating record, with self-deprecating humor, in a 2010 interview.

“I’m kind of under the radar. Not a lot of people notice me. Which is surprising, because I’m so sexy. They’re probably intimidated by my sexiness and crushability.”

The Last Man on Earth has been a critical success for Fox. The post-apocalyptic romantic comedy (and how often does a writer get to use that phrase?) has mostly positive reviews, earning 84 percent Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

“It may run out of steam before the season’s over, but ‘The Last Man on Earth’s’ ambitious concept and comedic undertone are enough to lure viewers in.”

It’s also been a boost to Will Forte’s post-SNL career, which looked stalled after the box-office bomb MacGruber, but then turned around with a supporting turn in the Academy Award-nominated Nebraska.

The show’s ratings, though, have been hit-and-miss, facing stiff competition from The Walking Dead and NCAA basketball, according to the Wrap.

Celebrity couples who appear on the same show together are fun to watch, but, unfortunately, their relationships don’t always pan out. Kaley Cuoco’s and Johnny Galecki’s characters were on-again, off-again on The Big Bang Theory while the two dated briefly off-camera as well, but their on-screen chemistry didn’t translate to real life, and the couple eventually broke up, according to this Inquisitr report.

Will Forte and January Jones — along with co-star Kristen Schaal — can be seen in The Last Man on Earth on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. (Eastern time) on Fox.
