WWE News: Vince McMahon High On WWE NXT Diva Charlotte, When Will She Make Main Roster Debut?

WWE NXT has made strides over the last year. Not only has the brand brought us some of the best wrestling in years for both men and women, but we’ve also seen a rise in popularity for WWE and hope rising for its future. Triple H has been in charge of WWE Developmental as well as everything seen on WWE NXT. He hired every single worker in NXT right now, barring trainers, and even some of them were hired by Triple H.

Vince McMahon, on the other hand, has no real affiliation with developmental or NXT in the slightest. In fact, Vince attended his first NXT show last week during WrestleMania week in San Jose. It was there that, according to Daily Wrestling News, Vince saw Charlotte work for the first time. While the daughter of Ric Flair has been on WWE RAW in the past to promote a NXT Special, he has never seen what she could truly bring to the table.

He saw a match between she and Sasha Banks and reportedly loved it. There has been talks for months about bringing Charlotte to the main roster, but after Vince saw her work, talks increased. Vince also requested that Charlotte be in more of the Tapout commercials that the company puts out. He is a big fan, so we could see her come up very soon.

The idea originally was to have her on WWE RAW this past week. Another plan was to bring her in this summer. However, she could come up at some point between now and then.

NXT Charlotte

Triple H has been high on Charlotte for a long time. In fact, she was brought on RAW alone to represent the NXT Divas for that very reason. Many also believe that WWE needs to use her quickly if they are to get all they can out of her. She got started in wrestling late, so her, age plays a factor. She will be 29 in a few days, which means that WWE has to use her before she gets older.

WWE does not like to use a lot of women in a major way once they reach their mid-30s. WWE clearly knows Charlotte is great in the ring and a terrific all-around talent. However, the average WWE Diva has a career of under seven active years. This is mainly because they want to have families before they get too old to have one. This is understandable, but it takes away from WWE once they work to make a Diva into a star.

Someone like Sasha Banks can wait, as she is only 23-years-old, but in Charlotte’s case, the time is now because she might want to leave before too long or WWE will want to put a younger WWE Diva in her spot. That is why Charlotte will debut this year on the main roster. She simply has to if WWE wants to get all they can out of her.

Keep in mind that the current WWE Diva group consists of Paige, Emma, AJ Lee, Summer Rae, Natalya, Naomi, Cameron, Alicia Fox, and the Bellas. Barring Summer, Nattie, and the Bellas, Charlotte is older than every main roster diva. So not only does Charlotte have to worry about the other NXT Divas who will come after her in the future, but she will also have to compete with the established women as well. So expect WWE to bring her up and use her a great deal from the get-go.
