Phaedra Parks Agreed To Sit Down With Kenya Moore Because She Believes In ‘Forgiveness And Redemption’

Phaedra Parks seems to regard her sit down with Kenya Moore during the group’s vacation in the Philippines, as previewed on Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, as a favor. In her latest blog post, posted on Tuesday, Phaedra explained why she agreed to have a sit down with Kenya.

“As a Christian, I believe in forgiveness and redemption. While Kenya and I have deep rooted issues, I am finally at a place where I am willing to sit down with her and hear her out. The only way to describe our relationship is wounded. And everybody knows that wounds require air to heal. Hopefully, this conversation will serve as that air.”

It’s likely that Phaedra believes that it’s Kenya, and not herself, who needs the forgiveness and redemption. A preview clip of the actual sit down shows Kenya breaking down as she talks about how much harm Phaedra did to her by calling her names and backing up Apollo’s claim. Phaedra, also in tears, explains that she can’t change what happened. The two hug it out despite there seemingly being no apology offered.

As the episode aired, Kenya asked her followers if they think Phaedra owes her an apology. Included in the tweet is a video montage of the Apollo drama, beginning from when Apollo claimed, in a previous season, that Kenya offered him fellatio while in Los Angeles to when he told Kenya, in the current season, that he never saw her in Los Angeles and lied about the whole thing.

While some people commented that Phaedra certainly owes Kenya an apology, there were also a considerable number of responses that said Phaedra doesn’t owe Kenya anything. Some people echoed Phaedra’s sentiments that even if Apollo lied, Kenya still behaved inappropriately with him.

“Hell no! You were flirting shamelessly with Apollo, booty all up in Peter’s crotch. Some women dont share their men! #GetyourOwn,” wrote one person. “If I told you to not be around my husband w/o me and u do it anyway that’s a problem. #Rhoa,” wrote another. “NO! Apollo was HER husband. Put yourself in her shoes. You crossed the line boo,” another person pointed out.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 7 reunion show filmed last Friday. Did Kenya Moore finally get her apology from Phaedra Parks that day? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kenya and several others shared their reactions to the filming via Twitter. Kenya revealed that the “most unexpected” thing happened.
