‘Star Wars 7’ Trailer No. 2 To Debut With ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

The second Star Wars 7 trailer is expected to hit theaters ahead of a movie you’re probably already planning to see. The space saga that George Lucas built (and almost ruined) is getting its next full trailer on May 1, right before Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

That combination is probably going to get science fiction moviegoers in the theater seats in record numbers, if not close. Both films are highly anticipated for what they’re expected to bring to the proverbial table.

The Star Wars 7 story is expected to center around a new Jedi possibly in training, as the original cast passes the lightsaber — almost literally — to a new generation. It has been rumored that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford will appear in the new trailer, almost as an answer to the questions the first trailer raised.

The true debut of the second Star Wars 7 trailer will hit the Star Wars Celebration convention from April 16 through April 19, so there is the high probability that someone will record it on their smartphone and post it on YouTube ahead of time. If that happens, you can probably expect Disney to take it down quickly.

For now, here’s the first one.

Combine the release of the second trailer with finally seeing what Ultron will do to threaten the Avengers and the world, and you have a potential box office monster. We will also finally find out what role Vision will play in all of it, after his unusual cameo at the end of the previous trailer.

Will we see our first major fight between Captain America and Iron Man?

What will Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch bring to the team?

Will the Hulkbuster armor actually be enough to control the big green rage monster?

Of course, the other big question is what the second Star Wars 7 trailer will reveal. We will all find out May 1, when it hits theaters ahead of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
