Jennifer Aniston Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame, Says No to ‘Friends’ Movie

Could “Friends” find its way to the big screen? If it does Jennifer Aniston won’t be on board. The “Wanderlust” actress, who just cemented her place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said that a big screen version of the hit 90s sitcom just doesn’t make sense to her.

Aniston told the Access Hollywood:

“No, there will be not (be a “Friends” movie). I don’t think so. … Wouldn’t that be weird?… “Friends” is in your living room; “Friends” is not in a movie theater. It doesn’t make sense to me. I think it would be going against its authentic self.”

But that doesn’t mean that she wouldn’t want to get together with the old gang. There are no plans for a “Friends” TV reunion anytime soon, but Aniston said that it could happen.

Aniston said:

“It would probably take those five actors and be somewhere where we left off… I loved what I did for 10 years; it was pure joy and nothing but fun, and it’d be hard to top it. The way we sort of felt the excitement of what “Friends” was when it started, it would have to be something where you felt a similar charge. But I’ll never ever say never.”

Aniston has moved on to bigger and better things since her “Rachel” days on “Friends.” She has a new movie coming out with Paul Rudd and her boyfriend Justin Theroux and just received a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame.

Aniston, who was joined by Adam Sandler and her dad John Aniston at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said:

“It’s a real big honor. Never did I put it mind my mind that that would be me!”

Do you think Jennifer Aniston deserves to be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Are you a fan of Jennifer Aniston? Would you watch a “Friends” reunion?
