The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Season 7 reunion filmed in Atlanta on Friday and according to a source, there was plenty of drama on set. In fact, the drama began long before filming began.
As Real Housewives fans are aware, seating at the Real Housewives reunions is very thought out. The ladies do not just come onto set and sit down. They are arranged, typically, by who has caused the most drama during the season. For example, when it comes to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Season 5 reunion, it was Brandi Glanville and Kyle Richards who were seated closest to Andy Cohen, who is placed in a center seat between two couches.
A source close to production revealed the following to Radar Online in regard to the Real Housewives reunion in Atlanta. “The order on one couch was Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Buruss, Kenya Moore, and then Andy.” On the other couch “sat Claudia Jordan, Phaedra Parks, and then NeNe Leakes next to Andy.”
As Radar Online also noted, the Real Housewives reunion seating arrangement isn’t only about who brought the drama. It also is believed to be a major hint at who will return to the show for the following season.
One person who wasn’t so happy with her spot was Claudia Jordan, who reportedly moved once Porsha Williams arrived.
“When Porsha Williams came on the set, Claudia got up and moved next to Cynthia.”
NeNe Leakes, who sat next to Cohen, as expected, was happy with her spot on the Real Housewives reunion set, but during taping, things between her and her co-stars, as well as Dr. Jeff, who made a brief appearance, got extremely emotional. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Leakes stormed off set when the topic of cast therapy came up.
“NeNe completely broke down. She was crying, and then she walked off!” a source revealed to Radar Online. “When she stepped out, she was gone for about an hour. It was typical housewife dramatics!”
During The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Leakes and her co-stars attempted to make amends with the help of Dr. Jeff, but unfortunately, Leakes didn’t stay for the entirety of the session, and things between her and her co-stars appeared to have gotten worse.
“When Dr. Jeff appeared, he said something to NeNe, and it made her start crying.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
