WWE News: Seth Rollins Cashes In Money In The Bank To Win WWE World Heavyweight Title At ‘WrestleMania 31’

WrestleMania 31 had our hopes up. We wished for a good show and it was a time in which the world watched to see if WWE could deliver such a thing to us. We saw a Dead Man rise, an MMA Powerhouse, an icon falling victim to the game he played — and gold being cashed in. What a WrestleMania it was. However, it was the ending that will leave us all talking, leading up to WWE RAW on Monday night.

Seth Rollins took on Randy Orton. The two were once in The Authority together, until Orton went rogue and Rollins took him out for a number of months. The Viper was not happy about this and wanted to take down “The Future Of The WWE” in Seth Rollins. He did just that, as he took him down with an amazing RKO to end the match on a high note.

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar went at it in the main event of WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The match went exactly as we all expected it to — sort of. It was a brawl between the two in which both men beat the brains out of each other. It was a very fun match to watch. Not only did we see hard hitting, old school work being done, but blood was also present.

Surely, after he lost such a big match at WrestleMania, Rollins wouldn’t want to be seen for a while, right? Wrong!

Seth Rollins decided to wait until both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns beat the brains out of one another and get involved in the match. He decided to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase to force a triple threat match. This seemed to be like an amazing idea until Lesnar saw this and was able to catch Rollins during a mid-air attack. As he was set to F5 The Architect, Roman Reigns delivered a spear to the Beast Incarnate.

Reigns was not able to get to the cover before Rollins delivered a curb stomp to him and won the match to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Some will say he “stole it,” but can we really not commend Rollins for his perfect timing here?

This marked the first time anyone ever cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania. Fans had suspected for months that Rollins would wait and cash in at WrestleMania to make the moment much sweeter when he finally won his first World Championship. He did exactly as many fans hoped. WWE fans wanted a great ending to WrestleMania 31 and was able to get what they asked for.

What will unfold on WWE RAW tomorrow night? Since Lesnar never lost the match, will he get a rematch at WWE Extreme Rules? We’ll have to wait and see what happens on Monday night, but we can assume the show will be hot as always. WWE gave us a shocking end this year, and most fans love every second of the move.
