Louis Tomlinson is allegedly so upset about the exit of Zayn Malik from One Direction that he is considering quitting the band too.
According to the Mirror, sources close to Tomlinson have predicted that he will leave One Direction at the end of the year after the group have completed their world tour.
The insider declared that the 23-year-old is "gutted" about Malik's departure. It's also been suggested that if Tomlinson did leave the band, then One Direction would end completely, as Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan wouldn't want to continue as a threesome.
Metro have also reported that unlike Zayn Malik, who is currently looking to forge his own solo career, Louis Tomlinson wants to work behind the scenes in the music industry.
One Direction fans were quick to register their disdain as Tomlinson's exit rumors began to circulate.

One Direction performed their first gig since it was announced that Zayn Malik had departed the band on Saturday evening. Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan played at the Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa, and it was reportedly an emotional performance.
Styles told the crowd at the start of the concert, "You have no idea how much we love you right now."
The video montage that introduces each band member as they came on stage had also been abridged so it just introduced Tomlinson, Styles, Horan, and Payne, while BBC News reported that Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson sang each of Zayn's solos.
Jamie Searls, the 25-year-old member of the One Direction tribute act Only One Direction, has confirmed that he won't depart from the band, even though Malik exited earlier this week because of the pressure that came with being in the group.
Searls told Daily Mail, "But Only One Direction will be gigging as normal as a five piece with Zayn in it - as long as people want to see us, I think we would be silly not to carry on."
