Scott Disick hosted a wild nightclub bash in Las Vegas Friday night — just a week after an aborted stint in a Costa Rica substance abuse rehab facility.
While there have not been any witness accounts that the notoriously hard-partying boyfriend of eldest Kardashian sister Kourtney was imbibing of the adult beverages, the appearance raised questions about whether Disick is serious about getting his act together.
The 31-year-old Disick and 35-year-old Kardashian have been a couple since about a year after they first met at a party thrown by Joe Francis, best known as the entrepreneur behind the seemingly endless series of Girls Gone Wild videos. The videos, at one time, dominated the late-night television infomercial landscape with their titillating clips of “real” women baring their blurred-out breasts, usually at spring break beach parties, Mardi Gras celebrations, or similar events.
But they made Francis wealthy and gave him access to like-minded nouveau riche types such as the Kardashian family.
In fact, just on Friday, Kourtney Kardashian posted the below photo to her Instagram account, taken at the very 2006 party where she met Scott Disick for the first time.
That’s Francis at the center. Disick is to the left and Kourtney Kardashian is second from right, holding the large glass of white wine.
But their relationship, though it has so far produced three children, has not been made official by a marriage license and has remained tumultuous largely due to the reported Disick taste for alcohol and perhaps other intoxicating substances as well.
Of course, given the nature of the Kardashians’ televised lifestyle — and the fact that Disick owes his entire celebrity and much of his reported $12 million net worth to his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian and his prolific appearances on the family’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and its numerous spinoffs — it’s always difficult to determine how much of what is reported about Disick is true, and how much is a put-on for the cameras.
What is definitely true is that Disick made a paid appearance at 10OAK in Vegas on Friday, where he was seen grabbing the microphone and imploring partygoers to “blow the roof off this m**********r!”
Disick also reportedly urged the female Vegas partygoers to perform oral favors for a male friend of his — though he quickly clarified that he was supposedly joking, because the friend was, in fact, married.
