Minnie Driver Hints at Identity of Son Henry’s Father

Three years ago Minnie Driver gave birth to her son Henry. The “Good Will Hunting” actress has kept the identity of Henry’s father a secret since then, but recently Driver dropped a few hints about the father’s identity.

Driver didn’t give the man’s name but said that he was a writer on the now-cancelled series “The Riches.” That cuts the possibility to just a few people. According to IMBD, there were only two male writes on the show; Dmitry Lipkin and Aaron Biltzstein.

Driver said that she chose to protect the identity of the man at the time because she didn’t want him to be hounded by the press. Driver said:

“He’s not famous. There’s no big story… I don’t need to protect him anymore. He can fend for himself. He’s a grown-up. We weren’t together and he wasn’t directly in the business so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity.”

Driver says that the father hasn’t been too involved, but he is trying to get back in the boy’s life now. Driver said:

“I mean, he hasn’t been that involved — his choice. But he is now.”

Driver, who has previously dated stars like Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Harrison Ford, said that being a single mother has been hard. Driver said:

“(I couldn’t have another child) without a partner. I couldn’t do two as a single mom, I really couldn’t. It would be too much.”

Driver, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in “Good Will Hunting,” is currently starring in “Web Therapy” on Showtime with Lisa Kudrow.
