‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Norman Reedus Ditches Home, So Will Daryl Dixon Make It Home?

Fans of The Walking Dead recently awoke to some worrisome news about Norman Reedus, and it just had to break days before the show’s season 5 finale. Before you read on, be forewarned that major Walking Dead spoilers lay ahead.

According to Curbed Atlanta, it looks like Norman Reedus is selling his home in Serenbe, a fascinating community that might remind you a bit of The Walking Dead‘s own Alexandria Safe-Zone. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution quoted one real estate site that described Serenbe as a “progressive community connected to nature.”

Obviously, Walking Dead fans have a reason to be gravely concerned about his real estate news — if it’s true, it could mean that Norman Reedus no longer has a need to be in Georgia. If the actor ever does leave the Peach State for good, this is clear evidence that Daryl Dixon is about to exit The Walking Dead.

However, Dixon’s vixens shouldn’t start rioting just yet — there’s some speculation that Reedus is simply moving to a more remote location so that he can avoid annoying encounters with Walking Dead fans who hang out around the area where his current abode is located. It’s understandable that he wants a little more privacy, but this news will still sadden the Daryl Dixon admirers who love Norman Reedus because he comes off as a cool guy who doesn’t mind spending time with his crazy fans. They can only hope that fame doesn’t change him too much.

Norman Reedus might be moving out of his real-life home, but Daryl Dixon isn’t going anywhere on The Walking Dead. As the Inquisitr recently reported, no member of Rick Grimes’ group will die during this Sunday’s season finale.

The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page also posted a detailed rundown of what will go down during the finale, and fans are going to love Daryl Dixon’s last season 5 journey. He and Aaron will run straight into a zombie-filled booby trap that was likely set up by the mysterious Wolves, but this scene will end with cheers, not tears — Morgan Jones will show up and rescue them! The trio will all make it back to Alexandria safely, meaning that the season finale will not end with an irritating cliffhanger that leaves Daryl’s fate up in the air.

However, The Walking Dead season finale will end on a somewhat sad note after a crazed Pete tries to kill Rick Grimes with Michonne’s katana — Dr. Drunk will accidentally take out Deanna’s husband Reg instead. The plus side of Reg’s tragic death is that it will finally make Deanna start to see things Rick’s way — she’ll finally let him kill Pete, and he won’t have to ask for her permission to do so.

Fans don’t just have the return of Morgan Jones to look forward to during the 90-minute season 5 finale. According to Access Hollywood, AMC has decided to air the first preview for the show’s companion series, Fear the Walking Dead, at some point during the finale. The new series will premiere late this summer.

Undead Walking reports that this Sunday’s Talking Dead guests will be Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, and showrunner Scott Gimple. There will also be a surprise guest, and it seems highly likely that it will be Morgan Jones actor Lennie James. However, it could also be one of the actors who played this week’s doomed Alexandrians or one of the stars of Fear the Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead season 5 finale (“Conquer”) airs this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. Are you happy that Daryl Dixon will make it safely back to his new home, or are you already worrying that he might not survive season 6?
