‘Beverly Hills’ Yolanda Foster Continues To Battle Lyme Disease

Beverly Hills reality star Yolanda Foster recently updated fans on her struggles with Lyme disease. As the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills comes to a close, Foster is undergoing test after test in hopes of beating the illness.

On Instagram on March 25, Foster updated fans on her status.

“I thought Mercury was only used in Thermometers………… #HeavyMetalToxicity #UnravelingChronicDisease #ManyPiecesToThisCrazyPuzzle #MyHealthJourney #Chelation.”

Earlier in the week, Foster offered another update, and shared a photo of herself receiving an IV.

“Some people are made when they are broken #NoteToSelf #BrokenButDeterminedToBeatThis #ClinicalTrail#3 #SearchingForACure #ChronicLymeDisease.”

Foster joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the show’s third season, and has been featured in a full-time role ever since. However, because of her December 2014 Lyme disease relapse, it is unclear if she will be back for season six.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Foster was only seen during a portion of the recently taped reunion in Beverly Hills, and, according to a report, Lyme disease was to blame.

Prior to filming, a source revealed the following to Radar Online.

“Yolanda does want to do it because she is always so professional about work commitments. The main issue with Yolanda’s health is the constant fatigue, and serious memory issues. Recently, Yolanda has had trouble just forming sentences, and sometimes can’t clearly articulate what she is trying to say.”

While the Beverly Hills reality star is currently facing an uphill battle, she has plenty to celebrate, as well. Both of her daughters, Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid, have been excelling in modeling in a major way. Earlier this year, PEOPLE Magazine dubbed the sisters “Fashion’s Newest ‘It’ Girls,” and for good reason.

In 2014, the sisters were just getting started, and made a couple of appearances on the Beverly Hills’ franchise of the Real Housewives, and a few on the catwalk. Then, by 2015, their careers went into overdrive, with Bella landing a contract with IMG Models, and Gigi nabbing a Tom Ford campaign deal.

Bella was also given a pictorial in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and named as the new face of Maybelline New York.

In addition to her modeling success, Gigi has been involved in a highly publicized, on-and-off romance with singer Cody Simpson for the last two years.
