Duchess Kate Pink Coat: Kate Middleton’s Motherly Instinct At Work Again?
Duchess Kate wore a pink coat while visiting the Stephen Lawrence Center with Prince William on Friday, and everyone began speculating if that “mother’s intuition” was showing through her wardrobe choice. According to Mail Online, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a knee-length fuchsia-pink Mulberry coat (retailing over $2,000) as she toured the grounds.
The double-breasted coat was actually a recycled piece. The Duchess wore the coat back in December while in New York. The coat is just Kate’s style, but the pop of color is perfect for the spring. Duchess Kate in her pink coat and Prince William in a navy blue suit were shown around the center by Stephen Lawrence’s mother, Baroness Doreen Lawrence of Clarendon, 62, and his younger brother Stuart, 37.
“The center was set up in memory of the innocent black 18-year-old, an aspiring architect, who was stabbed to death in 1993 by racist thugs as he waited for a bus in Eltham, south-east London. The royal couple applauded a choir of schoolgirls from St Martin-in-the-Field High School who greeted them with a short performance inside. He and Kate were then introduced to staff and volunteers at the Centre, including Stephen Lawrence’s sister Georgina, 36, and her 10-year-old daughter Mia.”
According to ABC News, this was Kate Middleton’s final official appearance. She is eight months pregnant with her second child, and it won’t be long now, according to Prince William.
While Duchess Kate wore a pink coat today, it’s still important to note that she and Prince William don’t know the sex of their unborn baby. Each time Kate wears a different color or seems to favor blue or pink, people start wondering if she’s feeling a certain way about what she might be having. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kate wore a lighter pink coat earlier this month, and people went crazy with baby predictions.
So far, many think that Kate and William will welcome a baby girl next month. The most popular name choices have been Elizabeth, Charlotte, and Diana, or a combination. If it’s a boy, many think that the couple will choose James, Philip, or Arthur.
