Drake Adds Two New Songs To Platinum Mixtape? Is It Official?

Drake

If you’re reading this, it’s too late because Drake has already added two new songs to his 17-song mixtape (that has gone platinum) — and turned it into an 19-track album… allegedly. Of course, no one minds a good Drake rumor — especially if it ends up being true and includes new music.

Despite the fact that If You’re Reading This, Its Too Late has gone platinum, Drake might not know it yet — and he has been laying relatively low in the news lately. The only bad luck Drake has had lately is an experience that occurred when he performed in Dubai in mid-March and was assaulted in a club.

Otherwise, Drake has been doing well and obsessing about the University of Kentucky’s Wildcats games on Instagram — just like the rest of America. Drake has been doing so well that he even avoided drama with Lil Wayne over dating his ex.

Hits Daily Double reports in their rumors section that Drake decided to do a physical copy of his mixtape before news officially reached him that If You’re Reading This, Its Too Late had gone platinum. They state, “As a digital-only release, Drake’s YMCMB/Republic album has sold 774k to date, including 495k in its first week, making it the top-selling debut of the year so far. [sic]”

Multiple sources state that after only six weeks of being released, Drake’s album has already gone platinum as far as Billboard Magazine is concerned. 360 Nobs says, “52,288 copies of Drake’s album If You’re Reading This, Its Too Late (including streams) were sold last week, pushing the tally over the one-million mark. [sic]”

What are the names of the two new tracks that will be released on Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late? Again, allegedly, the bonus tracks will be “How About Now” and “My Side.” It is also rumored by Hits Daily Double that the physical release of Drake’s If You’re Reading This, Its Too Late will be available on April 21.

Hip Hop DX states that the two bonus tracks were taken from Drake’s old set list on Soundcloud that was temporarily posted in 2014.

There is a chance that Drake is doing all of this because of drama with his record label. Hip Hop DX also state that an insider source, DatPiff founder Kyle Reilly, told them that about Drake’s album, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late was intended to be released for free download on DatPiff and hosted by DJ Drama until Cash Money Records intervened. [sic]”

While the rumors state that Drake’s If You’re Reading This, Its Too Late will be available on April 21, it is important to note that this has not been officially confirmed by Drake at the present time.
