Fans can watch the England vs. Lithuania soccer match live online and see which team comes out on top in the Euro 2016 qualifier.
The teams meet Friday at Wembley Stadium, with kick-off set for 7:45 p.m. GMT.
England is unbeaten so far in Group E, leading the pack with 12 points. A win would bring the Three Lions closer to the Euro finals next year in France.
Fans who watch the England vs. Lithuania soccer match live online will see an English team taking nothing for granted.
“We must therefore approach this game with the same intensity that has seen us win each of our last six matches,” said England coach Roy Hodgson. “The players have performed so well for England since the start of this season, their attitude and commitment has been plain to see and they have clearly enjoyed being part of what we are all trying to achieve.”
But fans likely won’t get to see sensational young player Harry Kane, whose strong play for Tottenham Hotspur earned him a spot on the national team. Hodgson said Kane will be making his debut soon, but he won’t be rushing it.
“We are very happy with Harry Kane. He has done well all week and has not in any way damaged his chances of playing in the full senior team,” Hodgson said.
“I’m pretty sure over the course of these two games he will make his full debut. He’s rightly getting lot of plaudits.”
“But I’m not prepared to give my selection away — people will have to wait and see.”
Wayne Rooney is also quite high on Kane and his performance in the Premier League this season.
“First of all, the season Harry Kane has had is incredible. The goals he has scored and his performances mean he has deserved his call-up,” said England’s captain.
“He is a finisher, as we saw against Leicester. It is great for English football to have someone performing like he is.”
If Kane doesn’t play against Lithuania, he could very well make his debut next week when England takes on Italy in Turin.
England is favored to win over Lithuania, which is currently ranked No. 94 in the world. After winning their first two qualifying matches over San Marino and Estonia, Lithuania fell 2-0 to Slovenia and 4-0 to Switzerland.
