WWE Rumors: Plans For The End Of ‘WrestleMania 31’ Could Bring About A Huge Angle

With Brock Lesnar officially re-signing with WWE for three years, it certainly made plans for the main event of WrestleMania 31 a little more up in the air. It appears as if Vince McMahon isn’t totally against having Lesnar retain the title now but may still have Roman Reigns be the one to stop the beast. However, rumors are now flying that a huge angle is planned for the end of WrestleMania, and it could include some unexpected names.

According to WrestleZone, the plans from WWE had been for Reigns to take down Lesnar and win the WWE World Heavyweight Title. That was the big idea since Brock Lesnar had not yet re-signed with the company, but then it happened.

Wrestling News Source thinks that a lot of people believe this was the best decision to be made. Jim Ross certainly feels as if Lesnar could not have come out better in this whole thing.

“Brock Lesnar made the best decision for him and everyone close to him by staying in WWE and earning what I’m sure is a magnificent salary for working what is essentially a part time schedule.”

Lesnar’s announcement not only got a lot of talk going around about him, WWE, and UFC, but it did more too. It had many begin questioning what the main event finish could end up being on Sunday.

Well, with Lesnar returning to WWE for at least three more years, things may have now changed.

Not only is Lesnar not going anywhere and will be around for angles and all that, but many within WWE still don’t necessarily think Reigns is ready for the title. There are many who don’t believe he is in a place yet to be WWE Champion.

On top of that, Lesnar is going to likely get a huge babyface reaction from the California crowd. On the other hand, Reigns is probably going to get one of the most negative reactions imaginable.

Now, the seeds have already been planted for a feud between Lesnar and The Rock. No matter what happens in the actual match between Lesnar and Reigns at WrestleMania 31, Rock could show up at the end of everything to start this huge year-long angle leading to WrestleMania 32.

WrestleMania 31’s plans are not so concrete anymore, and it now appears as if a giant angle could finish out the match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. The build for next year has already begun, and the fast track speeds up on Sunday.
