Jessica Biel Spotted Wearing Engagement Ring

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted out and about in New York City on Saturday night. Nothing out of the ordinary for a young celebrity couple, right? Except that Biel was wearing an engagement ring.

News of the on-again, off-again couple’s engagement broke about a month ago, and has since been confirmed, though the media reluctant couple have been shy and ambivalent about, well, talking to the media much about it. However, at a Saturday Night Live after party, Biel and Timberlake were seen getting cozy with each other and reports of the worn and noticed marital bauble were internet-bound shortly thereafter. As stated, the couple is fairly media-shy, probably owing to lessons that Timberlake took from his star-crossed and naive relationship with Britney Spears, and his more tight-lipped yet still public relationship with Cameron Diaz. The couple rarely steps out together, and Saturday night marks the first time the couple have been seen with Biel sporting a sparky engagement ring.

Biel, 29, and Timberlake, 31, “were very lovey all night and kissed a few times,” a guest at the Ristorante Asellina party said.

The couple were out celebrating Timberlake’s appearance on SNL as Grammy-winning folk sensation Bon Iver alongside guests Evan Rachel Wood, Jamie Bell, Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton, David Alan Grier, Seth Meyers, Chloë Sevigny, Natasha Lyonne, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kenan Thompson and the show’s host and former cast member, Maya Rudolph.

Also spending time with the couple were Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig, who reportedly, “loved the ring and chatted [Biel] up about it.”
