Jessica Simpson to Appear on Biggest Loser: Not What You’re Thinking

Jessica Simpson has been generously packing on the pounds lately (relax, relax, I understand that she is pregnant) and is scheduled to appear on The Biggest Loser next month. Steady there, reader. It’s not what you think.

Simpson will be appearing on the NBC show on March 13th to take one of the contestants out on a shopping spree with her. Whoever wins the Biggest Loser challenge that day will be treated by the expectant mother with a visit to the singer’s personal showroom. According to NBC, the lucky contestant will be allowed to bring another contestant of their choice along to pick out anything they like from Simpson’s clothing, handbag and skincare lines.

“I was so happy when I was asked to help style two contestants from The Biggest Loser,” said Simpson. “I am truly inspired by how hard these contestants worked to accomplish their goals for a healthy lifestyle.” She continued: “It was so much fun seeing the [contestants] try on clothes they would have never fit into before and feeling sexy. We had an amazing day together!”

Simpson is soon to appear on her own competition show. Fashion Star, premieres immediately following her appearance on The Biggest Loser on March 13th. In it, she will judge aspiring fashion designers alongside Nicole Richie and and John Varvatos.
