Bobbi Kristina Expected to Enter Rehab

As friends, family, and fans mourn the death of Whitney Houston today, Houston’s family members are said to be encouraging Bobbi Kristina Brown to enter rehab.

Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has reportedly been struggling with addiction. The Daily Mail reports that the family intends to hold an intervention sometime after Houston’s funeral. The family reportedly wants Bobbi Kristina to enter a 60-day live-in treatment facility to deal with her addiction problems. The family wants to give Bobbi time to grieve the death of her mother, however, and won’t deal with the issue until after Whitney’s funeral.

Whitney Houston’s cause of death has not been determined yet but many people speculate that the singer overdosed on a mix of prescription pills and alcohol.

Bobbi Kistina was taken to the hospital shortly after Whitney Houston’s death to be treated for stress and anxiety. Bobby Brown said after her release:

“My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better… We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected.”

The Daily Mail reports that photos surfaced on Twitter last March of Bobbi Kristina doing cocaine. The Houston family reportedly staged an intervention but Kristina denied that she was doing drugs or that she was suffering from addiction.
