Are Shelby Woods & Ryan Edwards Back On? ‘Teen Mom OG’ Couple Reunites On Premiere Night

Shelby Woods and Ryan Edwards appear to be back on. On Monday night, as Teen Mom OG premiered on MTV, the former couple were back together, and shared a couple of pictures from their reunion with fans online.

On March 23, Edwards shared two photos of himself and Shelby Woods on Instagram. In the first photo, he and Shelby Woods were seen standing together with a view of the mountains behind them.

In the caption, Edwards wrote, “The ride from hell.”

In the second photo, which was captioned, “An before we knew it was going to be hell, [sic]” Edwards and Shelby Woods were seen wearing motorcycle helmets.

Shelby Woods began dating Edwards, who has been featured on MTV since 2009, when he and ex-girlfriend Maci Bookout welcomed son Bentley in August, 2013.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Edwards, who was dating Shelby Woods when filming began on Teen Mom OG, has a strained relationship with Bookout, which has only gotten worse since the pair started production on the show.

In an interview with TV Guide earlier this month, Bookout revealed the following of her relationship with Shelby Woods’ boyfriend.

“The show does a good job of bringing up things I maybe push under the rug, so I just got so used to Ryan not being around and it was nice; we didn’t have to argue. I communicated with his parents because, to me, they’re the parents. But when we started filming again, it brings all that back out and makes me realize it’s still an issue and I can’t hide from it.”

Shelby Woods’ boyfriend, and likely Woods as well, has reportedly distanced himself from Bookout since their split years ago. While they are seen interacting on the show quite often, Bookout confirmed their real lives are much different.

On the show, Bookout and Edwards make arrangements for their son with one another, but in real life, claimed Bookout, she communicates solely with his parents.

As for Bookout’s interaction with Shelby Woods, whom Edwards split from late last year before their recent reconciliation, it is unclear if she has any. However, because the new season of Teen Mom just began, fans may see the two interact eventually.

Regarding their latest photos, neither Shelby Woods nor Edwards has spoken out to confirm or deny reports of their having gotten back together.
