Fallout 3 & Oblivion Double Pack announced, due out in April

If you somehow managed to miss out on both Fallout 3 and Oblivion, you’ll soon have the opportunity to pick up both in one convenient package–provided you have an Xbox 360 or a PC, that is.

Bethesda announced today that a “Fallout 3 & Oblivion Double pack” will be made available at retailers in North America on April 3. The double pack will set you back $29.99 for the Xbox 360 version, and $19.99 for the PC version.

Unfortunately for all of you PlayStation 3 owners, it doesn’t look like you’ll be getting the bundle. Speaking to Joystiq about the absence of a PS3 verison, Bethesda’s Pete Hines said that Bethesda “isn’t allowed” to release the pack on PS3.

“We will continue to work to try to change that, but at present it is still not approved,” he said. “We would like to release a PS3 version a well.”

It should be noted that, going by the box art, this doesn’t appear to be the Game of the Year edition of either game, possibly meaning that none of the either games’ post-launch DLC will be included. Bethesda hasn’t said for certain whether or not this is the case, however. We’ll let you know when they have more to say.
