Maci Bookout is pregnant with her second child and while most of her pregnancy will be shown on the new season of Teen Mom OG, fans are curious about her pregnancy now!
The reality show star announced her pregnancy late last year and soon after revealed that she was carrying a little girl. Maci was open about her battle with PCOS and admitted that she didn't know if she would even be able to have any more children. In fact, the pregnancy was a complete shock to Maci and her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, who moved across the country to be closer to his girlfriend.
At this time, the couple do not have any plans to get married before the birth of their daughter. However, they are very excited to welcome their baby girl into the world, and Maci Bookout recently revealed to E! Online that she feels like she is "allowed" to be happy this time. This shouldn't be too surprising considering during her first pregnancy, she was a teenager. Not only that, but Maci had decided to share her story on MTV's 16 and Pregnant, which catapulted the Tennessee native into the spotlight.
Now, she is sharing her story on Teen Mom OG, but since the season has already started to air, there are some things that fans won't learn on the show. Rather, Maci has been sharing details about her pregnancy and recently revealed the full name of her daughter.
"It's Jayde and her middle name is Carter. No more changes. We finally agree and really feel like this is the perfect fit."As previously reported by the Inquisitr, this is the name that fans had been speculating that Maci had picked for her little girl. Maci often does speaking engagements, and it was during one such engagement that she revealed she was naming her daughter Jade. However, it wasn't widely known that this was the name she was picking or that she was choosing a unique spelling. Maci revealed in an earlier interview with The Stir that when she thought of the name, she immediately pictured it with a "y."
Maci has not revealed where the middle name, Carter, comes from. Early on, there was speculation that she would name her daughter Harley, but it looks like the couple went with a different name.
While this pregnancy may be different for Maci in the sense that she can enjoy it more, it is the same in other ways.
"I've been blessed with two very easy pregnancies thank goodness and not too bad of symptoms."Maci also recently went for a three-hour glucose test. Typically, pregnant women have a one hour test first before the three-hour test, which is usually only administered if the woman failed the first test.
