Rihanna’s ‘Birthday Cake (Remix)’ to Feature Chris Brown

As the world continues to debate Chris Brown’s return to the mainstream, Rihanna, his former girlfriend / abuse victim, has invited the singer onto her latest single. Brown will be featured on Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake (Remake) single.

Brown has appeared on one of Rihanna’s songs before. In 2007 Brown appeared on the Cinderella (Umbrella Remix). After Brown was arrested in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend it seemed highly unlikely that they would collaborate again.

But Vibe reports that the Grammy Award winning singer has recorded two verses for the new remix. Brown will rap and sing on “Birthday Cake.”

Co-producers Da Internz said:

“We got the Rihanna ‘Birthday Cake’ coming out in a week. It’s gonna be crazy. And the feature on there is gonna shock the world.”

The official “Birthday Cake (Remix)” is expected to be released next week.
