Sexually Assaulted 13-Year-Old Girl Accuses Doctor Of Rape

A number of alleged sexual assaulted females, including a 13-year-old girl, signed an affidavit alleging they were drugged and molested by a family doctor.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested OB/GYN, Sohael M. Raschid, charging the 58-year-old doctor with 23 criminal counts, including sexual assault, furnishing liquor to a minor, and rape, according to a report by Herald Mail.

Raschid was also charged with two counts of indeviate sexual intercourse with a person younger than 16. So far, four alleged victims have filed an affidavit, resulting in the arrest of the alleged sexual predator.

According to police reports, Raschid earned the trust of his victims. He would later get together with his potential victims outside his office, spike their drinks with the sedative zolpidem, and then sexually assault them.

A 13-year-old alleged victim said Raschid was a friend of the family. She and her family arranged for Raschid to pick her up after a school dance and take her to his house to spend the night.

After the dance, Raschid picked up the young girl, took her to his home and gave her a slushy drink, to which – the girl alleged in the affidavit – Raschid added two tablespoons of vodka.

Part of the affidavit said the girl “related she was sipping the drink, but Raschid told her to chug it because it will give you more of a buzz.”

Authorities report the teenager went into a haze, stumbled around, fell over furniture, lost and regained consciousness a number of times.

She recalled Raschid placed her in his bed and he removed all of his clothes. The young girl said he photographed her, and then raped her. She told investigators this was the first time she experienced sexual intercourse.

The police affidavit filed by the first alleged victim says Raschid was also a friend of the family. He invited the 19-year-old woman to his home in Chambersburg and offered her what was supposed to be a non-alcoholic daiquiri. The two of them discussed the possibility of him hiring her to clean his house.

According to the affidavit, the young woman started feeling strange while having dinner; she started slurring her words, stuttered, hallucinated, and kept losing her balance. She said Raschid gave her three pills, claiming them to be vitamins.

A brief comment in her affidavit said the following.

“She related the last thing she remembers is using the bathroom at Raschid’s residence.”

The woman’s blood and urine were tested and evidence of the sedative zolpidem was found in her system. The same drug was found in Raschid’s home when police searched his home for evidence. Whether the young woman was sexually assaulted is unclear.

According to Daily Newscoverage, Sohael Raschid’s medical license was suspended.

Raschid is the medical director at Phoenix Wellness & Physical Restoration Center in Chambersburg, PA. Raschid posted a message on the company’s Facebook page on March 9, claiming his innocence, along with a slew of bible verses.

Raschid implied he never sexually assaulted anyone in this brief excerpt of his social media post.

“I did nothing wrong. Hopefully my attorneys can convince the Board and the Judge, if that is the Lords will. If not I go to jail. I will educate the inmates about health and the power of the Word.”

He added.

“For those who were harmed by my touch or words, I humbly seek your forgiveness and solemnly promise not to repeat the same mistakes. Thanks for reading. God bless all of you.”

Currently, Sohael Raschid is being held in Franklin County Prison, with bail set at $2 million. This doctor, accused of having sexually assaulted four victims, is scheduled to appear in court on March 31.
