Bobby Brown Invited To Whitney Houston’s Funeral

Bobby Brown received an invitation to Whitney Houston’s funeral this week from the late singers family. Houston’s funeral will take place this Saturday in New Jersey.

According to sources close to the situation Bobby Brown wasn’t invited but then:

“At the last minute, the family felt that it would keep the peace at the funeral [to have Bobby there] … even though some family members were against it.”

First reports pointed to several family members actively trying to prevent Bobby Brown from attending the funeral because they blame him, at least in part, for Whitney’s downfall and eventual death. It was after Houston started dating and then married Bobby Brown that her drug addiction was first reported and her $100 million fortune was depleted.

Before today’s invitation was revealed Bobby Brown had denied rumors that he was banned from attending his late wife’s funeral because of his role in her death.

According to sources close to Bobby he plans to attend the funeral now that he has been given the go ahead to do so.

Just hours after the Whitney Houston funeral Brown will hop on a private jet and leave New Jersey for a concert he has agreed to play at in the Indian casino in Connecticut.

In the meantime the official Whitney Houston toxicology report isn’t due for 4-6 weeks which means we won’t really know until that time if her addiction to drugs is really to blame for her death.
