‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Adds Chloe Sevigny To The Cast
Looks like American Horror Story: Hotel is adding yet another alum to their list. It was announced today that actress, Chloe Sevigny, will be a part of the upcoming fifth season of American Horror Story.
As some of you may know, Sevigny was featured on American Horror Story: Asylum as Shelley, a patient who was put through horrific experiments by Dr. Arden.
It’s not a surprise that Sevigny has decided to return for the fifth season of American Horror Story. Back when she was on the Asylum season, Sevigny sang creator Ryan Murphy’s praises to Collider.
“I loved last season, so much. I watched it all on DVD in two days straight. I couldn’t stop!”

She continued to discuss why she took the role in American Horror Story: Asylum.
“I talked to Ryan [Murphy], and I hadn’t seen the show. He was like, “Would you do the show? I can’t show you any scripts, but I can tell you a bit about the character.’ There was this feminist statement that he wanted to make with this character, about how women were persecuted back then, and throughout time, when they were promiscuous. That was all appealing, but really, it was watching the first season and seeing how much thought went into it.”
Sevigny isn’t the only returning cast member to join American Horror Story: Hotel. As the Inquisitr reported, Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley, both who turned up for American Horror Story: Freak Show will be in the upcoming fifth season with Lady Gaga.

Like usual for the American Horror Story world, none of the roles have been revealed, but we did find out at PalyFest that Jessica Lange would not be returning to the series. It was a given that this would be one of the first announcements with discussion about Lange’s retirement circulating for some time now, but fans hoped she would hold out for one more season.
As for Chloe Sevigny, she had roles on The Mindy Project, Those Who Kill, and Bloodline since her arc on American Horror Story: Asylum.
