Andy Cohen Talks Bethenny Frankel’s Return To ‘Real Housewives’

Andy Cohen recently sat down with Bethenny Frankel, who is returning to The Real Housewives of New York. Andy wanted to ask her all kinds of questions prior to her return to Bravo, simply because many fans are super excited to see her back. Frankel did offer up some information in regards to her divorce from Jason Hoppy and her current love life, but fans will have to see a new side of her on this upcoming season, which airs in a few weeks.

Andy Cohen and Bethenny Frankel are actually close friends in real life, and grew closer when she left The Real Housewives of New York after Season 3. At the time, Frankel got her own spin-off, where Andy was very supportive. But since this was a spin-off, Cohen was not involved in any way, and there was no reunion to be filmed. Their friendship grew over time.

According to a new Bravo report, Andy Cohen is now revealing that he continues to be friends with Bethenny, but on a different level, as he doesn’t want to play favorites with the housewives.

“I think it’s easier to be friends with her when she’s not on Bravo,” Andy has revealed, stating, “She’s a Housewife now, and I don’t want to treat her any differently than any of the other Housewives and she knows that. Our friendship went on the back burner when she started shooting.”

But just because Frankel is back on The Real Housewives of New York, doesn’t mean Andy Cohen isn’t supportive of her decisions. When she announced her return to the show, she pointed out that she was going back to her roots, which is something Andy Cohen can only support. And Cohen is excited to see her back on the show.

“She’s so funny,” Andy Cohen has revealed about his friendship with Bethenny Frankel, adding, “She’s so her. It’s wild seeing her back in. She comes back in and it just feels like she’s home again.”

During Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen did ask Bethenny about her divorce and her current dating life, and she did reveal that she is currently single. According to the Inquisitr, Frankel has been spotted with Michael Cerussi several times, so fans were wondering if they were indeed done. Frankel also addressed the current situation in regards to her thin frame, as she has been criticized for being too skinny.

What do you think about Andy Cohen’s changing friendship with Bethenny? Do you think Cohen is right to put everything on the back burner while she films The Real Housewives of New York?
