Suzanne Somers ‘DWTS’ Elimination: Actress In Bottom Two, Narrowly Escapes First ‘DWTS’ Elimination

Suzanne Somers’ DWTS elimination almost happened after week one! According to KESQ, Somers and her dancing pro partner, Tony Dovolani, were in the bottom two on Monday night’s elimination. The actress and health guru was a favorite before she even started strutting her stuff on the show, but when her name was called as part of the bottom of the dozen, people simply couldn’t believe it.

Although Somers wasn’t the one sent home (that would be Redfoo from LMFAO and his partner, Emma Slater), fans were surprised to see her so low on the rankings. This suggests, of course, that people didn’t vote enough, and that she is going to need a lot more support if she wants to stay on the show longer than just a couple of weeks. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews stressed the importance of voting all night last night.

Suzanne Somers’ DWTS elimination scare should be enough to get her fans voting for her. While she wasn’t the one sent home, Redfoo wasn’t the expected star to be eliminated either. Evidently, people must have thought that his fan base would be enough to carry him through at least the first two or three weeks, but that wasn’t the case.

According to Yahoo! News, model Charlotte McKinney and The Bachelor Chris Soules were the other stars in the bottom with Redfoo and Suzanne, and while almost everyone thought that McKinney (a model made famous by her recent Super Bowl commercial) would be the one leaving first, Redfoo was shown the door.

As far as frontrunners go, Nastia Liukin and Rumer Willis seem to be the favorites, but no one can exclude Willow Shields (known for her role as Prim in The Hunger Games series), who did great with Mark Ballas last night.

Suzanne Somers’ DWTS elimination might be inevitable, but if people start voting, and she keeps improving, she very well could make it to the semi-finals. It’s going to be hard to compete with the other couples, however, many of whom heat up the dance floor with their sizzling chemistry alone. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kym Johnson and Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavek are rumored to be dating. A love story (real or not) does wonders for Dancing With The Stars, and more people seem drawn to these “relationships,” making it even harder for someone like Suzanne Somers to stay in the game.

Who is you favorite on DWTS so far?
