Brad Paisley And Kimberly Williams-Paisley Renew Wedding Vows In Surprise Ceremony

Brad Paisley and his wife of 12 years Kimberly Williams-Paisley recently celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in a very unique way.

The country music super star and the Nashville star renewed their wedding vows in a “very campy” surprise ceremony at their close friend’s house earlier this month.

“We did a really campy wedding-vow-renewal ceremony at a friend’s house,” Williams-Paisley told Us Weekly at the 23rd annual “A Night at Sardi’s” gala for the Alzheimer’s Association in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday, March 18. “It was awesome.”

Kimberly wore a beautiful wedding gown with some not-so-traditional undergarments… pink panties to be exact. “You could see my pink panties underneath it,” she said. “It was either Spanx or pink panties!”

“It was pretty awesome. One of my best friend’s went and bought it for me,” Kimberly continued, describing her gown. “It was a surprise, I didn’t know we were doing it.”

“We had a traditional wedding march…Our processional walk,” the 43-year-old actress said. “It was very casual and very campy and silly. It was perfect.”

While some would have taken the opportunity to party the night away, the couple, who tied-the-knot back in 2003, ended their evening with their two sons, Huck, eight, and Jasper, five, according to People Magazine.

“Well, we’re parents now,” said Williams-Paisley. “So the night ended with a nice bedtime story.”

That doesn’t mean that they don’t have their date nights. “We definitely have chances to do that,” Kimberly said. “We have a lot of support. My in-laws are close by in Tennessee and I’m so grateful to them. They really let us get out and about when we want to.”

Speaking of their children, Kimberly says that they love spending time with their boys, who were there to witness the ceremony.

“We love hanging out with them,” Kimberly said. “My oldest son has just started reading like crazy. He loves comic books. He loves Calvin and Hobbes. He’s halfway through the Harry Potter series. They both have hilarious and unique personalities.”

And while Kimberly says they are not pushing them in either direction, she and Brad may have some little country music stars on their hands.

“There’s potential for sure,” Williams-Paisley said. “We don’t want to push them in either direction, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s where they ended up.”
