Rihanna Workout Plan for Grammys Revealed By Trainer

Listen, if you thought Rihanna's workout to get in shape for the Grammys involved hefty cardio sessions, hours of dancing and eating something ridiculous like high-protein, bean-based 5 chips, then ... well done, you were totally right.

The singer's personal trainer Harley Pasternak revealed that the Barbadian pop star works out three times a week for at least 25 minutes, in addition to the several hours of dancing she does each week in her concert sets. When she isn't touring, she ramps up her exercising, working out five times a week and trebling her cardio work.

Speaking to People, Pasternak says he designed Rihanna's regime to be easily completed while on the move. So while biking may play a big part in her workouts, jumping rope, stationary jogging and jumping jacks are all things she can do anywhere. As can you, when you stop reading this and get off that couch.

There's also a strict diet of five small meals a day to stick to, with urges for salty products sated by the aforementioned high-protein, bean-based 5 Factor Program chips. Pasternak, who has also worked with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, designed these chips himself. I can't guarantee they'll be readily available at Wal-mart.

And of course, the reason that we're all screwed: you need to have Rihanna's genes. D'oh. Pasternak explains:

"She's got such a beautiful body naturally. With someone like her, it's about the fine tuning."

On the comforting side, Rihanna doesn't possess the greatest natural taste for interior décor.
