Zoe Saldana Disagrees With Madonna And Elton John About Dolce & Gabbana
Zoe Saldana is not one to hide her opinion on controversial issues. Although many huge stars such as Madonna and Elton John have spoken out against Dolce & Gabbana’s comments about “synthetic babies,” Zoe Saldana thinks the backlash is ridiculous. Gossip Cop reports on Saldana‘s controversial quotes about not boycotting Dolce & Gabbana.
“That would be the stupidest thing if it affected my fashion choice. People are allowed to their own opinion, however, I wouldn’t have chosen to be so public about something that’s such a personal thing. I’m certainly not going to stop wearing Dolce, and I’m certainly not going to be refuting when they are adopting synthetic children, however they wanted to say it.”
Zoe Saldana then went to talk about how some of the things that were said by the duo could have been lost in translation. According to The Telegraph, Saldana’s idol Madonna was angry about the duo’s comments.
“All babies contain a soul however they come to this earth and their families. There is nothing synthetic about a soul!! So how can we dismiss IVF and surrogacy? Every soul comes to us to teach us a lesson. God has his hand in everything even technology! We are arrogant to think Man does anything on his own. As above so below! Think before you speak.”
It’s pretty obvious that Elton John doesn’t take Zoe Saldana’s route either. According to The Guardian, Elton called for a boycott of Dolce & Gabbana‘s products and spoke angrily about the duo’s comments.
“How dare you refer to my beautiful children as ‘synthetic’. And shame on you for wagging your judgmental little fingers at IVF – a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfill their dream of having children. Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again.”
Speaking of children, Zoe Saldana recently gave birth to twins. She recently talked to the Hollywood Reporter and revealed how hard it is to leave her children at home.
“I know that I’m going to be dealing with that forever because now that they are here it’s hard to do everything else,” she claims. It’s safe to say that if Zoe Saldana’s skills as a mother are anything like her skills as an actress, her twins will do just fine. Zoe Saldana is currently preparing for her role in the sequel to Avatar and will likely conquer the world once again.
