Emily Maynard Johnson Baby Bump: Former ‘Bachelorette’ Updates Fans With Photo

Emily Maynard has moved on from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but many fans still love her. She has the last name Johnson now after getting married last year and she’s expecting a baby in a few months. What’s the latest from Emily Maynard Johnson per her Instagram?

Fans went crazy earlier this year over the news that Emily Maynard Johnson is pregnant. Of course Bachelor and Bachelorette fans have known for some time that she was dying to have another baby so the news was exciting for those who have continued to follow her since her reality TV days.

Though her “Bachelor Nation” relationships with Brad Womack and Jef Holm didn’t lead her down the path of marriage and babies, her June 2014 wedding to Tyler Johnson did the trick. People shared plenty of scoop on the wedding after it happened and many fans knew a pregnancy announcement was surely not going to be far away.

Emily revealed her pregnancy in January, showing a baby bump picture and captioning it with a joke that she had eaten too much pizza. She also added a hashtag indicating that Baby Johnson would be arriving in July 2015.

Johnson hasn’t shared nearly as many baby bump pictures since the reveal as fans would like, with the last bump update coming more than a month ago. However, it seems that daughter Ricki’s spring break and some fun in the sun brought a new opportunity.

The former Bachelorette shared a photo via Instagram this week that included not only her baby bump, but her loves Tyler and Ricki too. She noted that they were spending spring break on the boat and the family was naturally all smiles.

Are Emily and Tyler expecting a boy or a girl? Johnson teased Instagram followers with a picture of a gender reveal cake a couple of weeks ago and fans went wild wanting to know the answer. Emily said that she would share the news about whether she’s expecting a boy or a girl after she filled in her family. Fans have been waiting, but so far it doesn’t seem that she’s revealed any further scoop.

Though Emily Maynard Johnson has built a life away from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette now, she still watches the show and tweets along with fans when it’s airing. She had plenty to say throughout Chris Soules’ season, and admitted she had reservations about the idea of having both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson start out this spring’s season of The Bachelorette.

If sounds as if Emily will be due before the Bachelorette finale, it seems. However, chances are good she’ll be tweeting during the early part of the new spring season and letting fans know her thoughts as the big twist of two initial leads plays out.
