Jessa Duggar’s Creepy Kissing Lesson: Is This Why Jana Duggar Isn’t Courting? [Video]

Jessa Duggar’s parents are more than happy to give their kids marital advice, but the 19 Kids and Counting stars got a tad carried away while helping Jessa and Ben Seewald prepare for their first kiss. Their kissing lesson might make you cringe, and it might make some fans wonder whether Jana Duggar isn’t courting because she doesn’t want to go through the crazy pre-marriage process that a few of her siblings have had to go through.

Us Weekly recently shared a clip from the latest episode of 19 Kids and Counting that shows Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar helping Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald prepare for their wedding by teaching them how to swap spit. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa and Ben decided to wait until they were married before sharing their first kiss. According to Jim Bob, Ben is only interested in getting physical with his daughter.

“Both of you will like the physical relationship, but [for] the guy [it] will be kind of like the main focus,” Jim Bob informs the soon-to-be newlyweds in the clip below. “But for a woman, communicating is the most important thing, and so taking time each day to communicate, that will mean the world to her.”

Ben Seewald then tells his future father-in-law that he gives Jessa Duggar the silent treatment occasionally, and Jessa says that it’s best to simply “agree to disagree” sometimes. After the young couple finishes discussing communication with Jim Bob and Michelle, things quickly take a creepy turn.

“Let me show y’all the best way to kiss here,” Jim Bob says while getting Michelle to help him demonstrate. “If you kiss straight-on, your noses hit together. See? So you have to turn. She turns one way, I turn the other.”

You can check out the awkward family moment below.

Jessa Duggar says that her parents’ kiss is “cute,” but she’d probably have to agree to disagree with many mortified 19 Kids and Counting fans on that assessment.

Jim Bob and Michelle were probably just trying to help Ben and Jessa avoid looking awkward on their wedding day, but the couple didn’t end up needing those kissing lessons — they decided to savor their first smooch in private instead of sharing it with their wedding guests, the 19 Kids and Counting cameras, and millions of TLC viewers.

As you can see, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s cringe-inducing kissing lesson was part of a special marriage counseling course taught by Jim Bob and Michelle. Before making it to that point, the couple had to put up with chaperoned dates, monitored text messages and emails, and limited physical contact (side hugs only!).

Shockingly, that kissing lesson actually wasn’t the weirdest Jim Bob moment that Jessa and Ben had to experience — their mini-golf double date with Jim Bob and Michelle was named one of Best Week Ever’s “Greatest Reality Moment in the History of This Week.”

As you can see, Jim Bob turns into a sex-crazed exhibitionist whenever he and Michelle get around one of his courting daughters. Maybe Jana Duggar isn’t interested in entering into a courtship because she simply doesn’t want to put up with her dad’s creeptastic behavior and oppressive pre-marriage rules. However, if Jana can’t go to college or get a job, getting hitched might be her only ticket out of the Duggar house.

Do you think Jim Bob went too far by trying to teach Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald how to kiss or by humping Michelle in front of them?
