Lately, Wiz Khalifa appears to be doing well if you believe the headlines. Complex reports that Wiz Khalifa’s recent collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Tyrese has been a success. Wiz Khalifa also recently sent a teaser for his upcoming album cover to fans. However, Wiz Khalifa has also been taking care of business in the form of a dot com associated with the Taylor Gang.

Why is the Taylor Gang so important to Wiz Khalifa? For those that do not know, a Wiz Khalifa fan website can tell you all about the origins and current meaning of the Taylor Gang. They say, “Taylor Gang is often associated with the famous Chuck Taylor shoes, which Wiz is famously known for wearing, or the school where Wiz Khalifa started his movement, Taylor Allderdice High School [in Pittsburgh]. But when you ask the Taylor Gang General himself, he will tell you it is a movement.”

On the webpage with the explanation of the Taylor Gang, they also include videos of Wiz Khalifa defining it. Wiz Khalifa says that the Taylor Gang is his crew and the lifestyle that they have of having fun, enjoying life, being yourself, and being free — but it is also about the fans. To Wiz Khalifa, the Taylor Gang is what brings everything together with the fans.

Obviously, Wiz Khalifa wants the process to be easy for fans looking to join up with the Taylor Gang online, and The Domains reported he took legal steps to fix the problem. Called a “Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy” or UDRP, Wiz Khalifa filled his complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization in September 2014. In December 2014, the World Intellectual Property Organization ruled in Wiz Khalifa’s favor and allowed him to have sole access to the name TaylorGang.com.

Despite this, when you visit TaylorGang.com, you see that Godaddy is the current placeholder for the domain that Wiz Khalifa supposedly won. What does this mean? It could mean that, somewhere, Wiz Khalifa fell victim to someone dropping the ball in the process of officially securing TaylorGang.com.

It could be that Wiz Khalifa will now need to battle with Godaddy to get the TaylorGang.com webpage under his full control. After all, The Domains points out from screenshots that the domain was parked from 2008 to 2014, and then suddenly came under the umbrella of Godaddy just months before Wiz Khalifa filed the claim with the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Seeing nothing on the webpage for Taylor Gang dot com could also mean that Wiz Khalifa has not found the time to design the new Taylor Gang dot com website or transfer the old one from Taylor Gang dot net. For now, Wiz Khalifa will be with his fans representing the Taylor Gang in person at his next appearance on March 21 at the Soul Beach Fest 2015 in Cancun, Mexico.
