‘Marvel Heroes’ Throws Huge Big Ten Event For Fans Of ‘The Avengers,’ ‘X-Men’

Marvel Heroes players usually enjoy weekly events that let them pick up new items or extra rewards. The Marvel Heroes developer Gazillion announced today, though, that the Big Ten event is back. This event is a combination of 10 events and sales running all at once.

The first Big Ten was held for the game’s 10-month anniversary, but this time around things are a bit different. Players can expect different daily login gifts and a number of events active simultaneously. There will even be a chance to play with the developers this weekend. Gazillion decided to throw the event again just for fun.

“Big Ten last year was such a blast, we figured why not bring it back for 2015? From now until the next patch, we’ll be running some of our favorite past events and sales for one big event.”

All 10 events were detailed on the official Marvel Heroes website. Fans can expect the Cosmic Chaos, Operation Omega, A.R.M.O.R. Incursion, Odin’s Bounty, St. Patrick’s Day, and Fortune Favors You events to be ongoing. Additionally, daily gifts and two big sales will be offered throughout the Big Ten. Marvel Heroes players may be familiar with the 15 percent bonus G sale and the newly bundled Mega Pack MK III. This pack includes all 43 heroes released through 2014, their stashes, and a few other items for a discounted $129.

Most events, like A.R.M.O.R. Incursion, task players with picking up currency while playing normally to turn in to vendors for special rewards. Other events, like Odin’s Bounty, send Marvel Heroes players to specific areas of the game for a chance at even more loot. Even server-side bonuses will be active during the event, making it easier for players to level up or find that particular item they are looking for. In fact, the Operation Omega event makes that server-side bonus start at 24 percent and increase each day by another 24 percent until the event ends.

The Big Ten is happening now and will end in the early morning on March 26. Marvel Heroes is a free-to-play game with an optional item mall. Marvel Heroes contains plenty of heroes from the Marvel universe including heroes Daredevil, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, and many more. The Inquisitr recently reported on the upcoming release of Marvel’s Daredevil show on Netflix, which is will debut on April 13.
