Watch Michigan State Vs. Georgia Basketball Live Online, 2015 NCAA Tournament Streaming Video

Fans can watch the Michigan State vs. Georgia basketball game live online and see which team dances through to the Round of 32 in the 2015 NCAA Tournament.

The teams face off Friday at 12:40 p.m. ET from Charlotte, North Carolina.

For the Spartans, the tournament offers a clean slate after a difficult stretch at the start of the calendar year. Michigan State endured a tough week near the start of 2015, with losses to Maryland and Nebraska in a span of seven days. But the Spartans bounced back, winning 8 of their last 10 before falling to Wisconsin in the Big 10 Tournament.

But now Tom Izzo has the team in a familiar place, entering the tournament with a clean slate and a chance to make a run — which they often have.

“It’s not just about March to me, it’s about the process to get to March,” Izzo said. “But when we get close to March, I think every living alum thinks March is the time when we excel, and I think in a way it presents a little pressure. But I think it’s one of the rare times it’s really, really good pressure.”

Fans who watch the Michigan State vs. Georgia basketball game live online will see a Bulldogs team playing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in four years. They haven’t won a tournament game since 2002.

They aren’t happy to just be dancing, however. The Bulldogs want to pull off the upset of No. 7 Michigan State.

“I think tournament experience is important, but our goal wasn’t just to get here,” Bulldogs coach Mark Fox said. “Hopefully our team will have the poise to deal with the emotions of the event. It’s a bigger event than they’re used to, and our poise and ability to deal with that’s going to be important. And those teams that have experience, that’s probably a slight advantage.”

But Georgia will also have one decided disadvantage — the left foot of Kenny Gaines, their second-leading scorer. Gaines is ailing heading into the tournament, though expected to be in the lineup on Friday.

“We anticipate that he’ll play,” Fox said. “We’ll keep our fingers crossed he’ll continue to get better every day. It’s not an ideal situation, but he’s a tough kid and he’ll do the best he can.”
