Kim Zolciak Celebrates Big New Contract: Kim And Kroy To Stay In Atlanta

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak has been building her life since leaving the show behind, including having more children, getting married, and building her dream home in Atlanta. Since leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta behind, Kim has experienced personal growth and tremendous success.

But there was also some heartbreak involved. Last year, Kim Zolciak’s husband was gravely injured on the field and had to get surgery, after which he spent a year recovering at home. At the time, he had torn his Achilles tendon. Kroy Biermann has worked hard to get back on the field. He eventually returned, and his hard work was appreciated by the team.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak has plenty of things to celebrate, as her husband has resigned with the Atlanta Falcons and will continue to play football in their current hometown.

“Very excited my hubby @kroybiermann has re-signed with @atlantafalcons. Going to be a great 2015,” Kim Zolciak revealed on Twitter, having her husband add, “Pumped to be back with @AtlantaFalcons and excited for the new things happening!!”

Of course, Kim Zolciak is very passionate about her husband’s football career. Throughout Kim’s many seasons on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she has often watched the Falcons games at home and at the field. Back when they first met, Zolciak would watch the games from her Atlanta townhouse that she once shared with her two daughters. But it sounds like Kroy himself is thrilled to be back with the team, especially after dealing with his injury.

“Running around that edge and having that contact, I missed that,” Kroy Biermann has said to ESPN, adding, “I mean, I had been pushing sleds and I had been doing things in my rehab process to test it against weight and against contact. But just feels good to have the pads on and out there playing football instead of doing rehab.”

And fans will be able to follow Kim Zolciak and her husband, as their spin-off show, Don’t Be Tardy, has been filming. According to the Inquisitr, Zolciak’s show has been renewed for a fourth season, and Zolciak has often tweeted about filming. It sounds like this announcement could be a part of the new season. Maybe Kim and Kroy will celebrate with some new bling and a dinner out. Kim recently showed off a big rock, which she had gotten from her husband.
