Scott Disick Tries ‘Iboga’ Hallucinogen To Conquer Alcohol Addiction In Costa Rica

Kourtney Kardashian’s longtime partner has, at last, come to his limits. After a drunken escapade in Atlantic City where he was found stumbling at Harrah’s hotel lobby early Sunday morning, Disick publicly announced that he was checking himself into rehab.

Videos show the father of three shouting curses at an Atlantic City crowd and recklessly pouring drinks on club goers. This is not the first time that Disick’s drunken exploits have been featured in the media. His drinking problems and wild party habits have been the subject of several episodes in Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Khloe and Kourtney Take the Hamptons.

Last Monday, in an official statement, Disick said, “I realize my issues are bigger than me and I’m truly ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle.”

On the same day, he left for Rythmia Life Advancement Center (RLAC) a high end rehabilitation facility located in Costa Rica.

However, Disick’s noble decision to seek treatment has been abounded by numerous controversies as RLAC takes a rather unconventional method in treating its recovering patients. The rehabilitation center prides itself in using plant-based alternative therapy, which includes the use of a known hallucinogen “Iboga.” It is a plant that grows in most parts of Africa and possesses various medicinal qualities which prove to be effective in battling addiction. In a statement released by RCLA, the reality TV star has agreed to participate in their Iboga treatment. His faith in their alternative approach generated quite a big buzz and people are now questioning the effectivity of his rehabilitation treatment.

Moreover, an unnamed source told People, “Scott has to realize that his actions have consequences that go far beyond himself. He can be his own worst enemies. Everyone has tried to help him, but that makes no difference unless he can help himself.”

The same source further pointed out that Kourtney is already tired of Dissick’s lifestyle, claiming that she has “heard the same excuses again and again.”

Despite such statements, Kourtney has been busy juggling her acting career and motherhood. She was spotted last Tuesday going out with her kids, Mason (five years old), Penelope (two years old) and Reign Aston (three months old). On the same day that Dissick left for rehab, Kourtney posted her selfie with the caption: “Green screen action today.” It seems that the 31-year-old mother is handling the issue smoothly.
