The ‘Sims 4’ Free Patch Brings Coveted New Items To All ‘Sims 4’ Players


March 31 is an exciting day for players of the Sims 4. The new Get To Work expansion, the first full feature addition for the Sims 4, is due to be released that day for a $39.99 purchase price. According to TS4 News,a free patch available to all Sims 4 players will also be available for download on March 31. Whether you plan to buy Get To Work right away or not, a plethora of fresh items and options will be available very soon.

The Sims 4: Get To Work features new fully playable careers such as doctor, scientist, retail shop owner, and detective. The Sims 3: Ambitions rolled out a similar edition with controllable jobs, but the Sims 4 takes this type of game play to a whole new level. Sims can work in hospitals, police departments, and in a throwback to the Sims 2: Open for Business, Sims can build and stock retail establishments with items from the build catalog, treasures collected around town, and crafted items. All these work sites are completely playable as well.

The free patch offers many additional features sure to please Sims fans everywhere. Sims VIP contains a comprehensive list of new details coming to the Sims 4, including two-story basements, an additional above-ground level, new world selector menu, and more. A never-before-seen feature allows an entire lot and all its contents to be moved.

“The patch will now allow players to move and position the contents (including vegetation) of an entire lot, and allows for tile by tile movement as well. Any content that is outside the boundaries of the lot will then be ‘sliced’ off.”
